Winter hiking

Information

Did you know that you can use some of the Park’s trails in boots? Trails 2 and 3 ABI, which are respectively a 1.1 km loop and a 1.3 km round trip, can now accommodate both snowshoeing and boots! And why just these two trails? As we have snowshoe trails that run alongside or intersect with fatbike trails, the holes that could be dug by boot tracks could damage the bike trails, making them more dangerous. What’s more, snowshoeing on snow better preserves the state of nature underneath. So come and enjoy the fresh air of trail 2 and the soothing sounds of the waterfall on trail 3 ABI at the Parc régional de la rivière Gentilly!
