What are the arrival and departure times?
For lodging (chalets and ready-to-camp), arrival time is 4:00 p.m. and departure time is 11:00 a.m. For campgrounds, arrival time is 1:00 p.m. and departure time is noon.
Do you charge for showers?
Yes, the cost is $0.25 for two minutes. So make sure you have some change for your stay.
Do you rent out electric-assist bicycles?
Although electric-assist bicycles (not electric propulsion) are permitted on our trails, we do not rent them out.
What information do I need to enter in my GPS to get to the park?
On your GPS, enter PARC RÉGIONAL DE LA RIVIÈRE GENTILLY and not the park ‘s address, 1000, route des Flamants, Sainte-Marie-de-Blandford.
Do you have wood for sale?
Yes, we have firewood and kindling for sale at reception. You must use the wood available on site only, to avoid spreading EAB disease.
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes, since 2024.
How can I pay at Le Parc?
You can pay preferably by debit card, credit card or cash. Please note that it is not possible to pay by smartphone, as our network is uncertain.
Is there a security deposit when renting a cottage?
Yes, there is a $200 credit card security deposit which is is refunded to your card upon return from your activity. Depending on your credit card company, the reversal may take from 5 to 10 days to receive.
Can we have our luggage transported to our campsite?
Yes, it is possible to have your luggage transported only if you are located at the Presqu’île ($8,00 taxes included for one trip) or at prêt-à-camper 2, 3 or 4 ($6.00 taxes included for one trip). Please note that the first trip is free for loan-campers 2, 3 and 4.
Can we swim in the river?
Yes, it is possible to swim at the bottom of the waterfall. However, the river is not monitored for swimming and the water is not tested. Swimming is therefore at your own risk.
Can I kayak/paddleboard in the river?
No, the river isn’t deep enough and it contains a lot of rocks.
Can I fish? How much does it cost?
Yes, it is possible to fish while paying your fishing fees at the reception desk. There is a fishing fee as soon as the fish are stocked. The fee is $17.25, taxes included, for 5 fish (speckled trout, mainly 8″). A map of possible fishing spots is online in our “Trail and campground maps” tab. Worms are also on sale at reception.
Is there a swimming pool?
No, there ‘ s no swimming pool on the campsite, but there is a water playground for children.
If I rent a bike/snowshoes, do I still have to pay for entry to the park?
Yes, an entry fee is charged (see our rates page for details).

Yes, we have a washer and dryer. The cost for washing is $2.00 ( allow $1) and for drying $1.50.
Do you have sites with all 3 services?
No, the campground only has sites with two services (water and 30-amp electricity ) or without services.
Can we drain our RV?
Yes, there is a pump-out station at the campsite exit.
Do hiking trails meet biking trails??
Yes, there are a few places where hiking and biking trails meet, but this information is always indicated on the trails.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are allowed on the campsite and hiking trails only, but always on a leash. Please visit the relevant page in the menu of our website.
Do you sell convenience food?
Yes, we stock cold drinks, snacks and condiments at reception.
In addition, food prepared by Moulin Michel (sandwiches, salads, desserts, etc.) is available at reception.

Can we cook at the community hall?
Yes, at the community hall, you’ ll find a stove, refrigerator, toaster and crockery for cooking.
Can we cook inside our ready-to-camp units?
No, you can ‘ t cook inside the ready-to-campers.
Are there barbecues?
Yes, but only chalets and ready-to-camp units have barbecues. They are therefore not accessible to all campers.
Do you repair bicycles?
Occasionally, yes. A part-time mechanic is available. Please ask at reception for further details.
Do the cottages have toilets?
All cottages have toilets, with the exception of cottages 1, 4 and 7. The toilets in cabins 8 and 9 are propane-powered and the toilet in cabin 5 is a dry toilet.
What can you rent at the campsite?
Mountain bikes and fatbikes can be rented, as well as snowshoes and hok skis. There is also the possibility of renting, at a cost of $5, games such as soccer balls, horseshoes, pocket games, slacklines, etc.
Do you have cross-country ski trails?
It is now possible, since winter 2023-2024, to cross-country ski at our Ste-Gertrude entrance only.
Are there any board games?
Yes, board games are available in the community room, but they have to stay there. There ‘s also a Croque-livres where you can borrow, exchange or even leave your old books.
Can I recharge my car at the park?
Yes, Le Parc is equipped with four (4) electric charging stations, all located in the central square parking lot. We therefore ask you to charge your cars at these terminals and not on the campgrounds.
